Our Basement Bathroom
We knew when we moved into this home that we wanted to add a bathroom in the basement. Well, It took almost 2 years to get around to it. It took 1 whole year just to decide where to put it and who to hire to get the job done. We had several quotes from bigger remodeling companies to smaller one man operations.
We were hoping for some opinions on how to finish off the space, since we wanted to add a unfinished storage area as well. It was very difficult coming up with the design, and basically it was husband and myself who came up with the whole design ourselves.
We decided to make a hallway that would have a door to the new bathroom and a door at the end of the hall that would lead into the utility/storage area. Fast forward to today, and I LOVE how it turned out!
We love it! The shelf above the toliet is from TJ Maxx, the vanity, faucet, shower head and toliet are from Home Depot, the light fixture is from Lowe’s and the shower door is from Menards. Home improvement trifecta!
