Quick Lazy Susan Project

0 By Kim

I have been seeing these lazy Susan centerpieces around and I thought this would be a great update to our dining room table! I did a little research and found that the best way to do this is just a few things from a hardware store.

All you need is:

15 inch wood round

Sandpaper

Stain (used Minwax Dark Walnut)

Polyurethane

Lazy Susan Turntable

Small Screws

Drill for pilot holes

Felt Furniture Pads

15 inch round from Lowes
I ordered this lazy susan ball bearing turntable from Home Depot
I stained the wood round with a rag. I did one coat.
I gave it two coats of polyurethane.
I marked with a pencil using the turntable as a guide and drilled pilot holes.
I had small screws laying around and those worked out perfectly for screwing the turntable to the wood round.
Instead of using another wood piece for the bottom, I used felt furniture pads and stuck them to the four corners.
I turned it over and that’s it! It’s perfect! You could take a circuit and put a name or personalized saying but I decided to leave it simple and plain.

A perfect centerpiece for my table! I purchased the napkin holder and salt and pepper from Target. Click for the links. I am super happy with how this easy project turned out.
