Quick Update to an old pair of Jeans

I have definitely been altering my clothes since I was in 8th grade or so…basically when I started caring about clothing. I would have my mom do the do the sewing because I didn’t know how yet. I would come up with something and then have her do it. I’m sure she loved me for it…lol.

I found these particular jeans while unpacking (yes, still unpacking after moving several months ago). I didn’t get rid of them for a reason..they have a cute unique design on them, the style is just dated. So, I decided to quickly update them. Seriously, it only takes 20 minutes to do this.

I measured it with a pair of jeans I wear currently.

I cut the jeans

I sewed them together with my sewing machine and then finished the edges with my serger. And that’s it!

I also had to cut the length a little bit and added an asymmetrical hem for fun 😊

There you go…20 minutes and a new pair of jeans!
