Marshmallow Flower Carrot Cake

I decided to try again with another fun recipe I found on Pinterest. I try not to do anything too complicated–just fun and easy. Natalie, of course, likes to help. This is basically just a carrot cake I make for my husband’s birthday and a flower made with marshmallows and sugar colored with food coloring!

I didn’t do the best job of cutting the marshmallows, but here is a shot of the cake. I should have used a sharper knife, in retrospect. Also, it would probably be best to use all white marshmallows instead of pink colored marshmallows. Oh well, lesson learned.
