How I made a Reindeer Pillow for Christmas

I liked the idea of having some Christmas Throw Pillows, so I decided to make some with what I already had laying around. (This is what I normally do because I’m either too lazy to get to the store to buy something or I don’t feel like spending the money.)

I started with sewing a simple pillow case with some burlap fabric. I plan on just putting the pillowcase on an existing throw pillow I already have, so I just measured for one of those pillows.

I took a piece of chalk and hand drew an outline of a reindeer. I just looked online for an example and followed that, but I’m sure you can find free stencils online if you don’t trust your freehand.

I used Anita’s Acrylic Paint, which you can purchase here:

I used a red wood bead I had laying around for the nose. It would be cute to use a red bell, but this worked for me.

This is the absolute best glue EVER for fabric projects. Anything you glue onto fabric will stay on forever–event through the wash.  You can buy it here:

I then glued on the bead! I let it dry for 24 hours.
